Waitlist for new clients
Lyndsay began her career as a registered psychologist over twelve years ago. She began working at New Earth Therapy in December 2021. Lyndsay wholeheartedly believes that to go from surviving to thriving in life we must tend to our emotions and learn how to be with ourselves during the ups and downs of life. This requires presence and attunement to your system and a solid foundation in the main pillars of health (nourishment, movement, sleep and stress management/mindset). She also practices from a holistic perspective, meaning that she believes that thriving in life involves taking care of not only our mental/emotional health, but our physical and spiritual health as well (MIND/BODY/SOUL). It is all connected and when one area is ignored, it will impact the others.
In addition to the above, Lyndsay has a strong passion for somatic (body) based therapy, which teaches deep nervous system regulation. In 2022, she began her training in Somatic Experiencing and completed Intermediate Level 1, with plans to continue Intermediate Level 2 and 3 trainings in 2025. Lyndsay views herself as a lifelong learner and is consistently enrolled in at least one course to further her knowledge of psychology, health, spirituality and relationships. Just some of her many interests.
Lyndsay specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationships, psychedelic assisted therapy and integration therapy. More recently, Lyndsay has started to explore Internal Family Systems (IFS) more commonly referred to as parts work. She also has a special interest in supporting people through difficult diagnoses, cancer in particular. She is also very passionate about gut health and understands that if our physical bodies are not functioning well, it makes it more challenging to form lasting improvements in all other areas. Lyndsay is a recent stage 4 cancer survivor and has a passion for helping those with cancer or difficult diagnoses understand the possible emotional connection to their diagnosis.
Although Lyndsay is a psychologist with many years of professional experience, she believes that you know yourself and your body best. She loves guiding her clients in connecting back to themselves through numerous practices. Lyndsay has a true passion for supporting her clients and receives so much joy and fulfillment when they share small wins from their lives and how they’re showing up differently to situations than they would have previously.
When she’s not at New Earth, you will likely find Lyndsay somewhere in nature, in a yoga, breathwork or meditation class, with her friends, cooking something delicious or lifting something heavy at the gym. She recently began taking animal flow classes with one of her best friends and enjoys learning new ways of moving and connecting to her body. Lyndsay lights up when she is in nature, around live music, stimulating conversations, and close friends.
